This month's photos are of a roof top, temperature controlled attic vent.
Squirrels have broken into the screen area of the vent and packed it with grass and sticks.
They bowled this out to make a nice nest.
They have done such a good job at this, that they completely blocked the vent for the attic and have disabled the temperature controlled fan.
This could have caused a fire.
The vent will be cleaned out, to allow air to move out of the vent once again.
This vent will eventually have to be replaced.....but until that time..........a metal screen guard was ordered and installed on the roof, over the vent, to prevent squirrels from moving back in again.
